Stay top 4 and the pick makes itself.

Top 2 IMO are Schaefer/Misa Either way . San Jose wins they go stud D
Next 2 are Hagens/Martone and I could def see Martone going before him.

Will the Bruins take a 5-10 center? Do they take him if they see him as a wing even? If they don't see him as a center Frondell is the easy choice at 4 then.

Hagens makes me nervous just because of his size and local school connection.

win win tonight. either beat the habs and maybe throw a huge wrench in their playoff push,
or another step closer to top 6
The Habs making the playoffs or not making the playoffs does nothing to help or hinder the Bruins. Other than us saying "ha ha" for 12 minutes until the reality sets in that we're still dog shit. A win does nothing for the Bruins but hurt. I'm so surprised people are saying "f*** a better shot at an elite player, lets beat montreal in game 76 of the year when we're last in the conference!"

You have to wonder if these teams have passed the Bruins for good . Looking at the rosters the Bruins don’t have the talent of these teams in front of them on paper at least

Since Linden was a center I would say Martone is more a Rick Nash. I watched the 2024 US-Canada, U-18 Championship game yesterday. Desnoyers centered McKenna\Martone, while Hagens centered Eiserman. Schaeffer was in that game also.

Desnoyers is a really talented 2 way center with a dose of physicality and has less potential of busting than Hagens, who has zero physicality. Hagens skates better and
has the higher offensive skill set but Desnoyers has good hands and is no slouch offensively and plays 200 feet.

That was an interesting game to watch given there were 4 of the top 6 rated players
in that game.

I was watching that mock draft that was poster here earlier in the week that had like 7 guys doing it, and they really sold me on Desnoyers. Sounds like a kid who plays a legitimate power game, and is going to be a beast when he physically matures in 3-4 years

The size is somewhat fair. I don't get the being afraid of him being at BC.

It seems like he was the best of the bunch as a 16 and 17 year old. Question for me is did he plateau a little this year, or was it just adapting to being in a MUCH tougher league than most of his peers played in

Its great having the leafs 1st to trade at the deadline, get to keep whichever is higher.
I never even thought of that pick. If there is a stacked first round in 2026 bruins could end up with two star players out of the draft.

I like him too but WTF do I know.

Yeah I am no scout, all I do is process all the information I can get and then try to make my opinions based on the information I have available to me. I am no scout, and even if I were, I never get to see them. I will admit I don't focus on highlight videos very much

Can't wait for the team to f*** up the draft.
They should not allow Neely, Sweeney or any Bruins scouts into the building on draft day

I think fans are going to be very disappointed

I would trust people outside the organization more to make the picks, lol

I would even trust people on this board more to make the picks

Whoever banged the table for Letourneau should already be fired.

I'm still convinced that Scott Bradley is the fly in the drafting soup and has been for decades. The mistakes they make in drafting in this era are the exact same mistakes they made in drafting 25 years ago.

Dean Malkoc was allegedly the mastermind behind the 2015 1st round and is still with the Bruins. He's currently the Associate Director of Amateur Scouting.

You can see this season how a few wrong moves can lead to disaster. It's going to take a lot of right moves if they want to get back front of those teams.
