What a kid. No ego.

Kid feels that the injury may have hurt his draft stock. He really doesn't think he will go number one. Doesn't care who drafts him but said it would be a huge honor to go to an original six team. His dream is to play in the NHL and be the best he can be for the team that drafts him.

He was told that every team intends on interviewing him at the combine. Doesn't know yet if he will be able to participate in all the testing.

A major change as this year, we will see the ping balls drawn LIVE

The lottery to determine the top 16 picks in the June draft will be held at the NHL Network's studio in New Jersey and broadcast on ESPN and Sportsnet at 7 p.m. ET on May 5th.

For the first time in its 30-year history, the broadcast will feature the drawing live in-studio, allowing viewers to follow along and learn the results at the same time as the draft lottery participants.

The NHL produced an animated explanatory video as a guide for viewers on how the live draw process will work.
