NHL Draft lottery III - Bruins locked into 5th before ping pong balls.

Philly needs a centre badly. I don’t see it happening.

But hey I see poitras as a top 6 player and you think he is nothing more than a third line player. So I doubt we will ever be on the same page.
No problem it is fun to discuss and offers differents views !!! If everybody had the same positions there would be zero interest in discussion!! I like your posts and influence my view and analyse, have a good day !!! And believe me i pray you are right with poitras !!!

People are going to be mad no matter who is picked, so.. Yeah.. haha.

Mrtka is growing on me big time. But if they're this high and they're expecting playoffs very soon they just need to take the best forward available.

They also need a good offensive Dman. Remember when the bruins defence used to shoot bombs from the point? Chara, boychuck, seidenberg, krug days. Can mrtka get bombs through from the point? That’s something the bruins have been missing for a long time.

Not sure what this has to do with this years draft but okay. Bruins chances of getting Misa are few and far between anyway so the point is moot.
So, you're saying there's a chance!

The odds are low, but if da Broons win the 1st or 2nd pick, then they should take the BPA, which would be Schaefer or Misa, respectively.

At this point if you are drafting him for that you'd be disappointed. Even at levels lower than Canadian junior he hasn't displayed any kind of goal scoring ability.

HUGE and mobile but will probably not play on an NHL pp.

And if sweeny don’t take him amd choose a guy projected 19th ? It is a real possibility

This is my overwhelming fear with respect to the draft. Yes it's great we have a top 7 pick and possibly a chance to get #1OA.

On the other hand we have a GM who has been known to "reach" draft. :scared:

Modern day, no.

In fact, OHL teams can only sign the first two 16 year old players they draft plus an additional two more from the following rounds combined.
I'm pretty sure John Tavares was still 14 at the start of his first training camp but turned 15 before the season started.
