NHL Draft lottery III - Bruins locked into 5th before ping pong balls.

If we are at 6 we are choosing between the top guy that falls vs Eklund, O’Brien and any other risers. In theory at 6 we could have two of Martone, Desnoyers and Frondell left. It just takes one team in front of the Bruins falling in love with Eklund or O’Brien.
Schaefer misa Martone frondell haggens desnoyers. We will get one elite talent here.

Marrone if he’s available. You can’t teach size. Yes, his skating needs work, so does his defense…but the kid can score, has handles, can pass w the best of them and will give it his all. To me is a perfect Bruin.

Got this when I tried it today

I watched Martone fighting and he’s not either Tkachuk

He’s a nice guy but he will go to the net has offensive skills- I’ll be very happy getting him 5-7 if there (we get 1 or 2 I don’t see him there and we can’t get 3 or 4)

If we get 5-7 I still offer to Colorado for Necas in a sign and trade ~ Bruins instantly own the RW room in the league

Depending on how the balls fall, I don't care who they draft as long as they get one of the seven from heaven.
I’m from the O’Brien’s myself as my mother was one. I been doing a lot of reconnaissance on him and he fits my blueprint for a center

And Professor SweenNelly and the Bruins get a Grade F on their drafting abilities

And it’s not one of those little f’s, it is a big F
written in red with a big ass circle ⭕️ around it
Hopefully Sweeny doesn't go off the board looking for a diamond in the rough. Stay away from Upper Slobovia and far out places like that when you pick in the first round. Fans are looking for a hockey players not a shepherd.

If he wants to I have no problem in trading down and picking up a significant asset. Mayhe trade with rags and get their pick with othman.

I like to run the simulator 10 times in a row each time. I’ve seen others do the same.

They don’t move down to 7th as often as they move up when I do it. A lot of 6th though.

IMO if Sweeney has the opportunity to grab one of the top 6 ranked players in the upcoming draft and he doesn't he is making the same mistakes he made previously. Bruins really don't have the greatest list of upcoming prospects as it is presently. Prospects that would turn into solid NHL players and impact games. I find Sweeney is like the boy sticking his thumb in a hole in the dike trying to stop the flood.

There will be a very good prospect there, but I don't think anyone in this draft is an elite talent. They have a really good change with coming out of here with a 1st line talent. Just not an elite 1st liner. But who knows. They got an elite talent much later in the 1st when they took Pasta. But in general I don't love this draft.

Absolutely. Whoever they get is their best prospect by far. I don't see anyone outside of Schaeffer, Misa and maybe Hagens making the NHL next year (aside from a 9 game tryout for someone), but the others should arrive in 2026.

I been watching Eklund tape and reading up on him - his brother is really good. I’m impressed - I can go 8 here
