Positive: he does put ketchup on eggs, steak etc which is a real main trait

Negatives: he’s a Leafs fan and would have Auston Matthews represent the world if aliens invaded. When your favorite team has a Tanev brother and we need to send a message to aliens you want them thinking our people are all Tanevs - not some sleepy guy with a high forehead and a bad mustache

Why would anyone move this years seconds for next years seconds assuming next years draft is deeper.

Hard to say. There might be a player that a team really likes, who on their board they have him a lot higher and are willing to give up a 2 in 2026.

Everyone’s board is different so you just don’t know, but either way their nice assets to have, just in case a favorable offer comes in.

If you pass on the next Brady Tkachuk for a guy that becomes a third line center it sets you back such as the 2015 draft. Big fan of Epperson, Nestrasil, and Czata, but I think I like Eddie Genborg the best. Had a decent SHL showing as an older 17 yo.

I don’t know man, his skating is a concern for me. The mechanics aren’t very good. Still be happy with the pick cause everything else seems good but that skating needs a big improvement. He is using his size for skating to beat players, but that won’t fly in the NHL against stronger and better skaters.

He’s not Brady Tkachuk. He is really slow like Tkachuk, but he’s more in the Matthew archetype but doesn’t play with the antics of either of them. He doesn’t just plant his ass in front of the net - much better passer than Brady and better through the NZ. But he’s not a Tom Wilson type. Hes like a dirt poor man’s Rantanen but slower.

To me, he has the highest bust potential of the guys in this range.
