NHL Draft lottery III - Bruins locked into 5th before ping pong balls.

I believe I read a number of amateur scouts etc have said none of the top picks in this years draft will play in the nhl this coming season.

I think if Schaefer had actually played it could be a different story. I think Misa *could*, but a year in NCAA would probably be better. The fact that these CHL guys can now go do a year in the NCAA is just huge. Like imagine if Thornton could have done a year at BC instead of puttering around on the fourth line with Pat Burns yelling at him?

If Poitras could have played a year in the NCAA would have helped him. RFA after next season.

Misa will likely end up back in Saginaw OHL. These young guys aren't usually ready for the riggers of the NHL.

Frondell was quiet out there, though I think he went from the plane directly onto the ice…so, the next few games will provide a more reliable viewing. Otto Stenberg looked strong out there for SWE.

Blake Fiddler was a pylon all game. Gave me Matt Irwin vibes.
I watched the highlights and I agree. I think Potter has looked good for the last couple of games.

Rigors. And no way Misa goes back to the O. He’s graduated from that level of play.
The only way he plays NHL is if he makes the team that drafts him and they decide to sign him and put him on the roster. Pretty sure there is a deal in place between both leagues a player drafted at 18 either stays up in the NHL or goes back to the junior club.

He will be able to do NCAA with the new rules. Perfect middle ground.

Thornton also could've just went back to the OHL which was a stronger league than NCAA at the time. I also think he ended up reaching his maximum potential anyhow.

He can go to college.

Anyone know why Kindel is ranked so low compared to his production? Is it just size? By most accounts he has a good two way game also. Martone only has slightly better production and many red flags.
