First Annual Kings Draft Contest.
Guess the Kings first 2 selections. Since it is a possibility that the Kings trade either or both the #13 overall in the First Rd and the #43 overall in the 2nd rd,
the contest will cover that possibility, yet you still make selections for the
first 2 players the Kings select. It is a good chance the Kings do in fact select
#13 and #43 without moving the picks.
So, there will be 4 things to guess.
1. Pick #13 overall. Trade? (up or down, or for a player; does not matter) Just answer Yes/ No. That's all. Do not say up or down, or for a player. Just YES or NO. One point for correct answer.
2. First Kings selection. You get 2 guesses. Your 2 choices are weighted. In other words, for example: Barzal , Konecny. Your first listed player is 5 pts and the second selection is 3 pts. If the Kings select Barzal, you get 5 pts. Konecny, you get 3 pts. They select Timo Meier, no pts for you.
3. Pick #43 overall Trade? you only choose (YES / NO) 1 pt for correct answer
4. Guess the Kings second draft selection. 2 guesses. Does not matter if the Kings traded up or back for this selection. 2 guesses, in order of preference. 5 pts if it is your first choice, 3 pts of it's your second choice.
If the Kings traded up or back significantly on either pick, it will unfortunately skew your pick, but oh well. Its a good bet that they keep both 13 and 43 and will help your selections.
Selections must be made 1 hour prior to the start of the draft.
Here is Bob McKenzie's final top 75 for a good reference.
