Prospect Info: Draft 2025 Habs you're on the clock

Good list
so moving up will not happen I guess
The only team I can see trade down (a pick of significance) is Pittsburgh with that 12th….habs would have to give up pick #16 and pick #41 for it and that’s IF Habs really really want a player at that spot where they think he’ll be gone before they select and Penguins are confident that at 16th, one of the players they are targeting will very likely still be available.

I know this is probably all Captain Obvious stuff here but it’s a possibility that I envision on a hunch!

I’m hoping for (in order) Bear + Rechsny- Lakovic--Nesbitt-Cootes.

Sign Giroux 2 years/5.5M to be 2C. He hasn’t played there for a few years but still takes faceoffs.

Based on these mocks, our first three picks could be Mrtka, Bear, and Prokhorov.

After that, I couldn't really care less about the additional selections when deeming the draft a "success," but, then again, we said the same thing in 2012.

Sometime I switch it up but I mostly always pick…
16- Bear
17 - Mrtka or Reschney I usually go with Reschney because I take lot of D later in the draft
41- vansaghi or zharovsky or Nestrasil or Gastrin
49- West or Paupalnekis or Gard
79- Prokhorov or Gard or Damico or Behm
81/82 Barnhill, Psenicka, Bedkowski, Rombach, Svrcek
101 Wang or Simpson or Huang
113 Stockselius or Passmore
145 Mutryn
177 Phillips
209 D’aigle or Klippenstein

Milton Gastrin in the second-round is great value, and so is Ryker Lee at #49.

Psenicka will likely go top-50, so getting him at #79 would be quite a grab too.

But the biggest coup of this draft is Semyon Frolov in the 100s. That's a definite oversight by FC and I think he'll go in the second-round at the draft.

Overall I like my draft. There's a lot of talented players there, some more defensive guys with higher floors too, some all-rounders, and some possible homerun picks with sky-high bust rate (Katzin mostly).
