What's the atmosphere at the games like? Are the crowds going crazy?
The crowd was very loud last night. When 5 or 6 thousand were there, it sounded like double. People streamed in past the 10 minute mark of the first period to make 8660.

They got loud again when the Admirals scored some goals and the refs acted like bozos in period 2. My wife said that her phone went off several times last night. I don't know what her setting is, maybe 90 Db?

After one period in Grand Rapids, the Ads are down 1-0. The SOG were 13-11 Ads. Askarov is in goal. The Ads are playing 11-7 tonight with Jack Matier on D in his first Admirals game.

The Griffins scored on a wrister 3 minutes into period 2. Foudy was taken down and GR scored their 3rd goal, followed by a 4th one 21 seconds later on their 17th shot.
Liam Foudy (8) scored with assists to Gravel (7) and McKeown (13) on a breakaway. Fifteen seconds later, Cody Hodgson (3) scored with assists to Tomasino (4) and Carson Gicewicz (1) at 16:34. That is 3 goals in 3 games for Cody. The SOG were 12-9 Ads and the score is 4-2 Griffins.

No score in period 3. SOG 14-5 Ads.

Hey Nineteen is the end of the streak.

The Ads (36-11-1-0) host 4th place Rockford (22-21-5-2) tonight. They are only 22 points behind Milwaukee, but are on a 3 game win streak. The Ads are tied with Bakersfield as the only AHL teams to have played 48 games. Hershey, Providence, WBS and San Jose have played the most games, with 53.

Rem Pitlick is playing with Rockford, so he must be part of the dreaded Blackhawks disorganization!

The Ads start Askarov, Stastney, Wilsby, L'Heureux, Parsnip and a big hand for Egor! Kevin Gravel has hit 500 pro games, 1/3 in the NHL. He received a plaque from Harris Turer.

The Ads are wearing Brewers style uniforms with medium blue jerseys and gold socks. McKeown flattened a big guy from the IceHogs. His helmet was spinning across the ice. Hodgson with a tap in for his 4th goal in 4 games. Matier (1) and Egor (22) with the assists less than 3 minutes into the game. IceHogs for Holding as the Ads almost scored again 30 seconds later. The SOG are 7-2 Milwaukee.

Rockford falls down too easily. Kemell just nailed somebody. Foudy outskated two IceHogs coming down the ice. He was in 4th gear and they were in 3rd. Pitlick (12) scored against some passive defense by the Ads. SOG are 11-7 Ads, but the score is tied. The final SOG were 13-12 Ads. Rockford played better after they scored.

Hodgson scored again. I am by the Zamboni tunnel waiting for my ride after period 2. Ads 2-1. Now 3-1. Egor was pushed by the goalie. There were some scraps. Egor and #82 (Pitlick) with 2 minutes for Roughing. No goal, back to 2-1. The SOG were 25-23 IceHogs.

In period 3, Pitlick took down Egor for another penalty. Healey just pushed an Admiral into his own goalie, followed by a cross check and a headlock. Peter Tarnaris was 10 feet away and called nothing. Watch out for former Admirals! The SOG are now 33-26 Ads. Pitlick just scored on a deflection to tie the game. Felhaber is yelling at somebody on the Rockford bench.

Ads called for Offside after ten seconds and three passes in the O-zone. Terrible linesmen tonight. They don't seem to know what is Offside and what in not. Ads turn the puck over and Askarov makes a big save to keep it tied. Rockford scores with 38.5 seconds remaining. The Ads took a TO and pulled Askarov. The IceHogs intercept a pass and score an ENG, making it 4-2.

Milwaukee had won 15 home games in a row going back to Dec 3rd. Now that streak is broken. Two losses in a row for the Ads for only the third time this season.

You have to play all three periods and we need better refs and linesmen in the AHL.

Ugh. Bad choke by the Ads. Rough way to lose.
Rem Pitlick with 2 goals.

I will disagree with your view. The Ads could have scored 5 or 6 goals, they just missed the net by a foot too many times.

The on ice officials did them no favors tonight. Pitlick should have been in the penalty box instead of scoring his second goal. Rockford got away with a lot of penalties, which is the understatement of this season.

I wasn't suggesting that they played poorly, just that giving up the lead in the third, then the gwg in the last minute is bad, no matter how it happens

The Ads lost to the last place Wild today in front of 9,444 fans. Officially, that is a sell out. Three loses in a row is the record this season. It was very defensive game. The SOG after two periods were 15-13 Ads. The Ads miss Jankowski in the face off circle. They also miss the injured Angello and Svechkov.

They need to play better versus the bottom teams.
