Bad first period. Calgary was a step faster and spammed a ton of shots. Igor kept the rangers in the game. Rangers snapped out of it afterward. Calgary kept spamming the shots but The Rangers I thought did a good job. Refs low key were the difference in the end. As someone correctly pointed out, that’s an according-to-Hoyle ‘scheduled loss’. And they almost Houdini’d it.

Only the Pens, Sharks, and Ducks average more shots against per game than we do. And we're 12-5. Says a lot about our goalies.

Says a shit-ton more about our D pairs, too….and our forecheck.
Says a lot about our schedule too, playing crappy teams that can’t finish. Rangers have had the second easiest schedule in the league so far. Could get ugly once they start playing good teams if they don’t improve the team d.

Couple thoughts m

Shesty is worth every penny of whatever contract he signs. Last night it took literally 3 perfect shots to beat him.

Hand pass "interpretation"
Is garbage. The call was bad and the challenge was proper. We got hosed.

The lack of PP ops is killing us. We won't win many games 5v5. Even strength this team looks slow and disengaged.

We hemorrhage scoring chances bc our defense is unable to deny zone entries and we pass pucks to the other team.

It's past time to inject some life into this tired roster. Too many passengers. Adding some fizz like Remper would send a message.

How was the 3rd goal a perfect shot? If you want to say the good outweighed the bad I get it but that was an awful goal.

That Sharangovich goal was like what the f***. Saw the replay and I was pretty confident that was going to be taken off the board. Whenever these assholes take a long time over the obvious though that's a sign......and then you get the double whammy of the challenge penalty to kill off and later when another puck deflected off the hand of a Flames player to another Flames player and the play was stopped.....Trocheck remarks on it and he gets an unsportsmanlike call. So shit goal and two penalties we shouldn't have gotten.

Literally it was like they did make this rule up on the spot. It wouldn't surprise me that two months from now same exact refs on the same exact play will call the goal back......and it could happen we would be the team losing the goal this time and no one here would argue about it because the rule is obvious to everyone.

Kreider sucked ass again.

For the love of god Drury move him in the summer. Team is going nowhere with “leadership” like him. Shows up once every 7 games.
I would consider Trocheck also...move 8 and 55..and Igor...25-30 million in cap space and 3ea 1st rders then restock roster with playoff players with the cap space and draft more Cuylee's

Outworked again. Notable comments from players and coach about the refs screwing them in a game where they allowed 49 shots and showed a pulse for maybe 10 minutes. Lavi whining about how the flames were bumping Igor all game, you'd think "rugged" defenseman like Lindgren and Trouba would defend their goalie but usually they are sliding out of frame or already on their asses. We should start calling Trouba the Bullshit Artist because there is no more checked out player (but Kreider is real close). This team's leadership has no heart. They are defeated men.

Luckily our youth is good and getting better. When was the last time a Ranger went nose to nose with an opponent in front of the opponents bench like Cuylle last night? 10 years? This season already feels like a waste because everyone knows they can't beat the best teams this way. I'll give you a scorching hot take too, the Rangers should trade Igor for Brady Tkachuk if he becomes available. This team has needed a real intense emotional leader, not a by default one like we currently have, for my entire adult life.
