I don't see any way a trade between these two clubs makes sense. The Flames will ask for one of the big three, the Leafs will rightfully tell them to **** off, and then we're at an impasse.

For Hamilton no but Brodie is a legitimate top pairing two way defenceman and would be worth sacrificing Marner or Nylander. Not Matthews though.

Toronto shouldnt deal Matthews or Marner. They can turn out to be the Kane and Toews type of guys for Toronto(not saying they will win 3 cups or even win at all btw). But they should be untradable.
