They miss him dearly but they played some great hockey without him also. Durzi has slowed a bit since his fight against a heavyweight vs Nashville and Bjornfot/Edler/Roy arent 100% back yet. Anderson is also out.The defense has been so horrendous without Doughty. He really was the glue that kept everything together on the blueline. Without Drew in the lineup, we’re seeing a bunch of miscast dmen who are in over their heads.
Why the hell didn't we trade for a veteran d-man before the deadline? Did Doughty have a setback?
Your LA Kings, where it is always Ash Wednesday and never Easter.Good grief. It comes in 3's. All RHD too and in 48 hours, no less.
1. Brandt Clarke twists knee. unknown at the moment, at least to the world, how bad it is.
2. Faber *may be lost
3. Doughty surgey
You are severely underselling the dominance of Troy Stecher. It’s cool, remember our big TDL acquisition was the return of Edler.
This has been a bad day
McClellan and Blake have their excuse for missing the playoffs
Are you new here? NO EXCUSES for a team that wasn't expected to make the playoffs to not make the playoffs. That he's been out for half the year? Or that Edler has been out for half the year? Or that Anderson will be out for a solid 1/3 of the season? Or that Walker has been out for the whole year? That half of their current defense has less than 200 games of NHL experience combined?
Where do you get this "wasn't expected to make the playoffs" line from? Didn't Blake say he had hoped we would be in playoff contention this season? What was the point of getting Danault and Arvidsson if not to battle for a playoff spot? Are you new here? NO EXCUSES for a team that wasn't expected to make the playoffs to not make the playoffs.
dont worry you give the rest of the board great material year round.Going to be some great material to look back on here if the Kings make the playoffs...
oh the playoffs was 100percent the goal this year.... he tells you other wise he's just shifting goal posts.Where do you get this "wasn't expected to make the playoffs" line from? How many GMs/coaches in the league say that winning the cup is the goal for the season...and how many of those teams actually do it?Where do you get this "wasn't expected to make the playoffs" line from?
