Seems the Canucks are a mess. Something needs to happen, a trade, Tocchet firing, benching etc...Demko is going to have to prove he can stay off the IR if the canucks have any hope of trading him.

It's very possible that last season was an anomaly. The depth after the core looks weak to me.

* 22nd in 22/23
* 7th in 23/24
* 17th so far this year.

It's very possible that this team is a bubble playoff team and it will remain that way until they can improve the depth after their core.

agreed the depth does look on the weaker side, last year saw many on the canucks have career or close to career years...so you may very well be accurate. Whatever is happening the Managment need to do something, trade, fire the coach etc.

Last year was an anomaly. Ignore the cope saying things like “hyuck, hyuck. it's all injuries durrrrr”

Defence took a step backwards, last season went the entirety of the 82 games with minimal injury troubles (worst was Soucy for a bit), 46 games into this season and the starting roster has been on the ice for 2 games, and they don’t have good depth players to cover injuries.

In regards to Demko this same rumour came up last season also and he had to tell media it wasn’t true. It’s also been said that Demko doesn’t want out, he wanted more starts. That’s why he was unhappy. He wants to be better, and needs the starts to get better.
