I’m fine with moving on from Demko, he’s doing more harm than good. He’s looked terrible since trying to return this season. He’s closer to a LTIR candidate

There has also been a longstanding rumor about Miller coming within milliseconds of being traded to the Pens a few trade deadlines ago. Hence the joke.

The Miller/EP thing is bad blood. Demko I am guessing is 100% about how he feels the team has been treating him with regards to this injury. Maybe they are trying to force him to play/not play.
Demko could start by playing better, because everyone would be happier if he kept he team in a few games.

What defines a healthy Nucks team this season though? You said it yourself, Demko might be finished. If you discount him they have iced a healthy roster. Its just a dysfunctional mess at this point. Pettersson hasnt been the same since signing that contract.

I think the Canucks are going to be rebuilding within a couple years. Once Hughes gets out of there they are completely cooked.

Whats MacLean's track record like ? Is it better as a journalist, or whatever he is than it was for him as a GM ?
Utah should be on this. Vejmelka dropped the game for them against NYR last night. Utah was definitely the better team.
I know they’ve had some injury problems with Durzi on the shelf long term, but they’ve got Durzi, Marino, Kesselring, Bortuzzo and Lamoreux on RD along and Serg, Cole, Maatta, Valimaki on LD with some decent D prospects as well.
I could see a maybe fit.

They haven’t had a game where all of Hughes, Hronek, Miller, Pettersson, Joshua and Demko have been on the ice and healthy.
Currently they are the close
Jarry's value is far, far worse than Hoglander's as a negative asset.
You'd have to value Pettersson>>Demko, which is just plain stupid. No deal.

Youre assuming Demko has value, which is far from certain. No one knows if he will be able to play full time again and at what capacity. He could be an LTIR contract for all we know.
