I'm just gonna speak in broad terms here so maybe you did or did not say what i'm going to reference just know I'm not attacking you personally.

You say we need to get all these young draft picks and prospects and let them play and at the same time want to get rid of players like Saad because of a maybe possibility that his contract could suck in a few year. Well we need someone to instill the right values to our young kids. Work ethic, a winning attitude and a mentorship. We can't get rid of everyone that's a veteran.

You can't just trade everyone tho. Especially in a league where most teams are at or around the salary cap. Plus you don't want to rush players to the NHL as well that's the easiest way to f*** up their development.

I expect DA to seek trades of one or two longer term contracts in the next couple years.
