I was getting ready to post this before Tarasenko was traded.

On The Under review show on Channel 91, XM, Mick Kern just said, its well known that Doug Armstrong is getting ready to absolutely unload his roster, and its going to start very soon.
Peter Brice added:
Said the word around the league is that at least 3 players with NTC's had discussions with Army during the AS Break.
Said Army is going to move quickly and "sources" are stating that Army is not waiting until the TDL.

Blues have already had multiple conversations about Vladdy, Barbie, ROR, Accari, and Greiss.

The Blues are completely open to taking on expiring bad contracts.

There are rumblings that there have been issues in the locker room and has been for over a year.
Said one of the players rumored to be an issue left as a free agent last summer and the other is on a long term contract.
Really got the feeling he was talking about 57 & 10.
Have never heard anything about Perron and Schenn. I knew Schenn and Steen used to but heads quite a bit.

Did mention that Barbie is drawing significant interest and the LA Kings are very much a player with Barbie

Perron was a problem child? I never expected that. I also wouldn't expect it to be Schenn. Husso and Krug is my picks.

Agreed, I always hear good things about Schenn and Perron's leadership. Schenn taking in Neighbours and Perron working with young players on their skills. Those two were on the cup team. So its hard to believe they didn't effect the lockerroom then but are a cancer now. I'd think it would be players who we got after the cup.

Husso seems like a guy who never said a word, though.

He says volumes with a single look.

(Pssst, someone post the gif).

I don't think it's Schenn, Thomas, Parayko, Faulk, or Buchy. Kyrou maybe, but I don't see the Blues throwing 8 mil a year for 8 years for a problem child, just not their identity. Everyone seems to love Saader. Perron seems to be endeared by everyone here, I have never heard anything about Leddy being a Problem.

Binner is a definite maybe, as well as Krug. Could see friction between Husso and Binner with Binner having a horrible season and having his spot stolen by Husso.

I think the Three NTC guys that Army had walks with were Krug, Binner, and Tarasenko.

He’s clearly talking about Perron. I’m not saying it’s true, but he is only one who would fit what is being described.

Maybe Perron was upset he wasn’t being resigned? I remember an article last year about Neighbours staying with Schenn and Perron said he would be glad to have Bolduc live with him if he were still here. Only he said it with tone that hinted at resentment for not being sure he would be here and that club never really considered him part of core. I think it could be true that Perron is basically a great guy but maybe a bit moody or difficult at times? Maybe strong-willed?

As to the other player, I could see it being Krug. Guy seems to play with a chip on his shoulder as small guy who has always been doubted. And after playing so long on Boston may have ideas on how things should be that our team doesn’t match. Dorsnt make him bad guy but maybe just bad fit.

Lol that’s all bullshit. Notice how every time the Blues suck, we get the exact same rumors about “locker room issues”? Happens every single time.

And then when the Blues start winning and go on a run for the Cup, suddenly everything is fine and we hear about how close they all are.

Shit gets annoying. I have never stepped foot into that dressing room and I can still guarantee the problems are on the ice and that’s it.

Just like we were all told that the problem in Buffalo was ROR being a locker room cancer.

Both can be true. Winning can "solve" a lot of those issues, but once poor play starts, the same issues that were pushed under the rug pop up again.

It'll be interesting if some of the NTC guys like Krug or Schenn or even Binnington could get moved. I'm not sure where there'd be fits, but there must be some teams out there who could use someone who can contribute and have bad money deals with shorter term they could dump in exchange.

The problem I have is that the rumors are always so vague and usually fit the narrative of the person doing the raking or are timed for attention rather than an actual scoop.

Earlier this year, the rumored issue was that established veterans weren't happy with Thomas and Kyrou's contracts. That's definitely not a "same issue," that's a new one that attempts to explain their struggles this season. And even though the Blues continued to play like shit, those rumors stopped when Kyrou's scoring was carrying the team. If the rumormongers are so plugged in, why didn't we hear about how those vets had changed their minds?

I still don’t buy it, it sounds like a lazy excuse to try to explain why the Blues are playing poorly, when IMO it’s just the roster construction and coaching that aren’t meshing.

I mean this stuff goes back to the Pietrangelo and Steen days. If all these rumors are true, the Blues must be getting very unlucky that they just happen to acquire a ton of players that are issues in the locker room. But at the same time, we still hear good things about the locker room when things are going well.

It doesn’t add up.

I'd probably lean towards it being PR spin, but I could easily see some players being good in the locker room when times are good and not good at any sign of trouble. Could also just be random made up filler by a radio guy that needs to fill out a show.

What I don't doubt is the core of the point that Army is wanting to move players out that have term. We've heard that a few times now. Doesn't mean there are any issues, but more of a sign that Army wants to move on from the older core and start focusing on Thomas/Kyrou and everyone younger than them.

If we could unload Krug-let alone somehow get assets for him-that'd be great. Tear it down to the studs-by which I mean Thomas, Kyrou, Neighbors, Schenn, Faulk and Parayko are the only players I wouldn't entertain moving.

And in regards to OP, I could easily see it being Husso (due to the goaltending controversy last year) and Krug...but I wonder if that NTC player is Buch. I dunno but dude never seems happy in interviews and on the bench.

Anytime you go from a team that was contending to a team in the lottery people will be frustrated. People will want things to change and point fingers at time. Do I think it is a huge issue, no I do not but players want to win and when you are not winning every mistake is highlighted. I could see Army trying to trade Krug. There were rumors last summer about him floating Krug's name. Please please let it happen

I’d try to move Krug, Leddy and Faulk.

I think you could go to any team that has had a bit of success and then they start struggling frustration sets in. Guys snap at each other. Is that locker room issue? Maybe. Is it unique to us? No. Will winning solve it? Typically does.

They are talking about Kyrou IMO

Blow the whole thing up and send DA with them.

This is the most unlikeable Blues team I've seen in my 20+ years of being a fan.
