I like a winning season too and if they were the best team over 82 games, I think that's awesome. But I also like playoff success which hasn't been as much as we want of late. I don't think the two have to be mutually exclusive as far as getting enjoyment.

His playoff numbers vs. Tampa and Ottawa across 3 series have been fantastic.

He's struggled to produce at the same rate in the playoffs vs. Boston and Florida but so has his entire team.

One dimensional usually means a guy who only has one major element to his game. Marner, while he lacks that big game ability that some players have, has many elements to his game that makes him not a one dimensional guy. He has a strong defensive game and does pretty good work on the PK.

I guess that can matter when most players are demanding $13M/yr on the open market. Not until then however.

I don't get he Marner hate, that entire leafs team has choked and not shown up whenever they play the bruins or florida.

Marner early on was the one guy who would would show up. Then it became Nylander.

The leafs fans won't ever admit it, but the issue is Matthews.
