He plays left tackle about as well as you could expect, considering he was a right tackle that never had the tools for the left side and was essentially forced into it because of injury.
Bears made a mistake giving him huge money several years ago, not realizing that Brees' pocket awareness and escapability made him look a lot better than he actually was. But I think you could put him a right tackle and be very happy with what you get. He's big as a moose, country strong, athletic and can mash in the run game. Ideal NFL right tackle IMO. He could play guard too, always played right guard in preseason early in his career and looked good doing it.
