Personally I feel like it could make talks with the sens start again. I’d be suprised if the sens want Karlsson in camp after all the drama. I could see this possibly happening b4 camp. It’s just too much of a risk to let him play this yr imo

You don't make a blockbuster trade primarily because a player is suspended or injured for 20 games, so I don't think this adds any pressure to get a deal done for Karlsson.

It's a crappy deal man. I'm still pi#$@d about it. But look what they did last year with a full team approach with all their goaltender injuries. Have to think they'll get through it without too much damage in the standings.

I don't see VGK making a trade for D man. I see it as an opportunity for the Brannstroms and Hagues to make a case to be on NHL roster at start of season.

I have been unable to watch the rookie challenge, but it's sounding like Hague is really close to ready.
