His number doesn't get retired but he'll likely get honored. I don't see why not.

2nd in all-time points by a Leaf d-man all-time.

I think that would warrant it. Maybe not immediately, but down the road maybe.

right untill the end, i thought he couldv been a better player. the guy had a good shot but always seemed afraid to use it. it almost makes me nostalgic looking back on all the times i yelled "SHOOOOOT" when he was manning the point on the PP.

so on that note, hell no.

Hurricanes fans would prefer if you just burned his number at center ice. I still can't get past the agonizing half season he spent with us. It was like watching a great big marshmallow on skates.

First and foremost lets take a little look: 2nd all time points for a Leafs D-man behind Salming. Hes also a 4 time nhl all-star, Stanley cup ring and bronze medal for 2006 winter Olympics. Seems too have a good resume. I can see Kaberle getting honoured, sure.

Not a chance. If he is the bar is set way too low. I was a Kaberle fan and loved those teams, but that would be a joke. He had a handful of good season with us, offensively.

For that Stanley Cup ring he got with Boston? What do the Olympics have to do with his success on the Maple Leafs also?:help:
