It would take a historic collapse at this point for Vegas to miss the playoffs, especially in that weak division.

Eichel getting injured for the playoffs is always a possibility.

But the most likely outcome as of today is he plays his first playoff games this season.

It's definitely not an Eichel curse that he hasn't played a playoff game yet. He's been on garbage teams and got traded to a team that had an unlikely shot to make the playoffs at the time he was traded to them.

He's having a hell of a season, though.

He's having a hell of a season, though.
More like Vegas wasn't in a good position to make the playoffs when he finally got into the lineup. By then the roster was decimated with injuries and they had very little room for error to make it back in. At the time of the trade it was still early. But in principle, agreed.
