He'll need to play another year after his contract is over. Let's say 30+25+25 takes him to 680 at the end of his contract at age 39. One more year at 20 goals will get him to 700 at age 40.

For points let's say 80+70+70 takes him to 1841 at age 39. One more year at 60 points will get him to 1901 at age 40.

So barring injury if he plays to 40 he can realistically hit 700 goals 1900 points.

It’s basically up to him where he ends up. If you told me up front that he’d play through his age 42 season, I’d be comfortable predicting 750 goals and 2000 points.

Yea he's said before he would bow out if he thought he wasn't playing at a high level. Don't see him sticking around until 42.

Only 8 goals in 30 games and on pace for 22 goals this season.

His 8.9 shooting % has to surely move up closer to his career total of 14.5 %.

I can see him turning it on in the second half. I think he’ll finish with 32, which gives him 624.

All depends on how long he plays. If he truly only plays the two seasons he’s signed for, no, he won’t hit 700. If he plays three or more, of course.

Yes. He does. Easily.

He also ends up #2 in points career

he takes care of himselfand will be relevant as long as Selanne was. He will also have a shot at 2,000 points. Id bet money on that.

If he goes to Colorado and plays with his good buddy MacKinnon, easy yes.

Not sure what one season has to do with the other. It's pretty obvious that he's scoring less goals this season than he did last season. That doesn't mean he can't turn it around but I wouldn't expect a 42 goal pace from here on out.
