Does Callahan have one of the Worst Contracts in the NHL?

I'd love to give you false hope, but the bolded statement is Ryan Callahan to a T. Chances galore, can't finish.

He finished them last year. He's just having a bad year this season. If it continues to next year, most TB fans will be let down though.

Am I the only one not concerned about Callahan when we have Matt Carle on the team and not having reached an agreement on the contract situation for Stamkos?

Callahan had a career year last year, not sure how he was declining in NY before that. Nevertheless, he is placed on the third line, of course he won't produce.

Are his best years behind him? Quite possibly. Does it matter right now? Not really.

Not to derail this thread but does it make sense for TB to sign Stamkos to a $10 million per year contract?
I say this because Kucherov and Hedman are gonna look for big money deals soon.

So in a way Carle's and Ryan's contract are albatrosses.
