I do have to wonder how things like ticket/merch sales and TV viewership are doing. I live far away so rarely get to a game in person anymore but I’ve gone from watching every game to maybe a 1/3 or so. My brother and dad are more casual fans typically who watch 1/2 the games or so in a typical season and I don’t think they’ve watched a game since December.I agree there's no point in firing him now, but if Trotz keeps him going into next year, I will likely not buy a single ticket.
I mentioned this in another thread, but I was shocked at how cheap you can get into a game now. I looked at the Ottawa game and you were getting in for $16 a seat. I don't have much interest in going, as I assume a lot of people don't...but it's cheap enough that you can turn that into a family outing now.I do have to wonder how things like ticket/merch sales and TV viewership are doing. Yep he needs to be gone next year. If he isn't.... Oof.I agree there's no point in firing him now, but if Trotz keeps him going into next year, I will likely not buy a single ticket.
Not nearly enough put aside for beer to make it through the gameTickets: $16
Fees: $30
Parking: $20
Beer and Hot Dog: $40
Watching Justin Barron spend half the game behind the other team's net? Priceless
I was considering adding:Not nearly enough put aside for beer to make it through the game
