I voted Too Soon to Tell, and honestly, that answer will hold up until he's 30 or so.

Goalies are a total crap shoot. One year they're great, the next, they suck balls. I guess "Vasi potential" is to ask if he'll be elite year after year. There's very few of those.

Vasi ended up being one of the best tenders with 2 cups and some vezinas with a Smythe hard to reach that with that said if he becomes close to vasi sharks will be unstoppable in the future very athletic goalie with insane reflexes with that said cleaning up his fundamentals while maintaining good position is his area of work as he has the things you can't necessarily teach which is why he has insane potential.

I think it will be a lot easier to be as good as vasilevskiy but not have the success of vasilevskiy. And if this were the case, how would one quantify it exactly?

I think he's still got a long way to go with his fundamentals. Seems to lose his angle too easily too often but as far as big and athletic goalies go he's looking like one of the better ones to come along in a while.
