TV: Doctor Who: Ncuti Gatwa Tapped to play Doctor after 3 episodes from David T

The talking baby episode is my all time least favorite. I think the music one might have had a couple moments, but I didn’t enjoy it on the whole regardless of those. Two in a row with very bad writing, and I could barely stand them, but I kept with it and got the watch one of the best ever in “73 yards”. I’m glad the writers are at least capable of compelling TV, because I was worried it was over. The Doctor is good, Ruby is quite good, so there’s some real potential as long as we don’t have to endure any more talking babies, and bad writing. When they are good they are very good, but boy… when they are bad, holy cow!

Just watched the final two episodes of season 14 and thought they were quite good. According to Russell T Davies the next season will be 8 episodes airing May of 2025. Millie Gibson will be back but will be joined by another companion. Hope we don’t get companion overload as was the case with Jodie Whittaker’s doctor.
