Do the Leafs get more credit in hindsight for taking the Panthers to 7 games?

Considering how badly Carolina is getting destroyed, do the Leafs get more credit in hindsight?

Panthers didn't really get their legs going until Game 3. Then playoff Bob arrived and the entire team started getting their rhythm. If the Panthers didn't start slow, I think the series would go 5 games max.

FLA used the series to relax a little and catch its breath even if it meant losing a few games. You approach a series differently when you know the core of the opponent has a complete inability to win a game 7.

If the Leafs played Carolina they would've probably won game 1, decided they didn't have to try anymore and go down 3-1 or something. Miraculously force game 7 then lay another egg and lose in humiliating fashion. Again. They're mentally weak.
