I have not saw lots of him live no ,but he was traded to Lethbridge which helps .I try to get to 6 or 7 Hitmen games a season so maybe they meet in playoffs with any luck.

Squeaking in is the worst possible outcome for the long term future of this team. Changes need to be made, but it’s a lot easier for Sweeney to convince himself otherwise if they’re in the playoffs.
You don’t need to bottom out to realize it’s time for an overhaul. For this market, being a bubble team after a few years of WTFs should be enough.

I hope they don’t just so Sweeney finds himself on the hot seat. This guy is THE definition of “play it safe”. This team will never win a Cup with him steering the ship. He doesn’t have the balls to make bold moves. Cups aren’t won at the trade deadline

In 2016 when they refused to trade Loui Eriksson and still missed the playoffs, they had six more points through 56 games than they do right now

Bruins are in 10th right now and if the NYR and NYL win their games in hand they’ll pass them in the standings and teams like Ottawa, Detroit, Columbus and Tampa who are currently ahead of them with games in hand, if they win any of them they’ll extend their lead. Not looking good for the Bruins, no matter how you spin it.

I don't think he played it safe in the 2021-22 season at all. He shoved all of his chips into the pot to try to win a Cup. He made some pretty gutsy moves and I don't blame him for doing so.
Unfortunately, now its time to pay up for that team's failure...

Yes, at the trade deadline with all UFA’s to be (Bertuzzi Orlov Hathaway) neither of whom he retained. He’s a trade deadline gambler. I hate to best a dead horse but one only needs to look at Vegas Eichel Stone Hanifin Hertl etc etc.
