Do any NHL players own Android Phones?

So I am guessing most own IPhone because it’s cooler to own.
Everyone I know owns a certain brand of a smartphone because it's the one they happened to get first, and it's just a lot easier to stick with it when changing phones.

Besides, I really don't think anyone over the age of 14 should be getting into pissing contests over who has the superior smartphone.

Why would anyone with money own an android lmao

Wym? You can easily get an android that cost more than the latest iPhone.

& as a general response to the OP its actually interesting to me that android isn't represented more. It's not a decade ago where they were cheap & brutal picture quality. They actually have solid phones now.

I just always noticed they had iPhones.

NHLers use The Sonim XP10 due to the fact that hockey is a contact sport.

This was Claude Giroux's phone before he played for OTT.

Apple products are a status symbol at this point since the bar of entry is definitely higher than your standard android.

I've never heard anyone over the age of 19 fight over who has the coolest brand of phone.

There might be a lot of teenagers in this thread.

Ultimate offseason thread…

I also wonder if any of the NHL players own a Mickey Mouse underwear

Well, since you asked.
“Ask him why he doesn’t have an iPhone,” Wild center Joel Eriksson Ek told The Athletic, grinning. “He says it’s too simple to use.”
...
“Yeah, Andrew Heydt’s super frustrated with me,” Gustavsson said. “I don’t know. My last iPhone I had was an iPhone 5, and I just never looked back. … You can personalize Android phones a little bit more..."

I had a Nokia phone in the late 90's. The protective case I had for it looked like a sausage casing.

Fast forward to today where Leon Draisaitl is one of the more dominant players in the NHL. He lives on a steady diet of Bockwurst, Bratwurst, and Blood Sausage.

Then consider Nokia phones run on Android.

So if you want to make the connections then yes. NHLers most definitely use Android phones.

There’s many articles over the matter. I wasn’t just saying it.
