How does our Hutson compare to the Montreal one?

They're really similar. Montreal fans will tell you they're not(because Lane is Bobby Orr reincarnated to them)but the scouting world says otherwise. I think Lane might have an edge on skating but Cole's narrowed the gap a lot this year and if there's one thing our organization can do it's improve skating. Cole also has a bit more size and if he grows like Lane did post draft he could end up at 6ft where Lane is topped out at 5'10". I think BU has Cole at 5'11" already which means he did grow since draft day. Cole has also seemingly one upped Lane every step of the way in comparison. Beat his single season point record, won an under 18 gold. But I think he'll fall short on outscoring him as a freshman at BU mostly due to the teams themselves being wildly different in scoring production. We've got a good one. One day when we look back at that trade buffalo fans will be very upset.

And i love that for our team style. Little bit of edge and physicality.

One of the biggest things i have noticed this year is the Caps don’t take the body when smarter play is positioning. But when the body is the right play they make it count. Smart physical hockey.
