Did the Sedins Invent the Slap Pass?

They brought it up in the Oilers Sharks game yesterday when the Oilers tried it. They said it was the Sedin Slap Pass, and then commented that many teams called it that.

When they came out with "open-concept" schools they made it seem like a great new idea.

My dad had a similar set up when he first taught decades before this. It is now referred to as a one-room school house. They likely just referred to it then as school.

I have seen footage of Orr doing one, also Gilbert Perreault and Bernie Geoffrion. All for goals.

A Perreault one to Rick Martin? stands out in particular, the Perreault one he skates round a man like he is not there, wind up for a slapper and puts in right on Martins stick for virtually and EN. Cant find footage, think it was on a whole game re-run somewhere, but it was awesome.
