I was yelling at the TV they should have had him out at the 3min mark est.

The oilers had zone pressure and everything. rookie mistake by the rookie coach tough to see it. But the way edmonton was playing it would have been an EN goal

IMO they should of pulled him in conjunction when McDavid+Leon jumped on the ice for the final stretch. If that was at 3 minutes left, do it.
McDavid was gassed by the time Skinner was pulled.
This for sure. They needed to have the top line have a bit of rest 5 on 5, and put them over the boards with the extra attacker.

Knob made a big mistake putting out McDrai with 3 minutes left if he didn't mean to pull the goalie as soon as they had control in the offensive zone. They had their top guys with solid possession for a good 25-30 seconds, then their shift ended and they were never able to muster another possession even after pulling Skinner. At that point, Knoblauch had to acknowledge his team was a lot more likely to retain possession with an early pull than trying to regain the zone with less than 2 minutes left without his top unit.

Doesn't matter. The other lines are professional players and MUST be trusted to perform under pressure. No excuse for Skinner to have been in the net below 2.30 on the clock max

Yes, it's easy to say now. Guys were tired and you could tell Oilers had lost their magic with 90 seconds remaining.
