How is this pressuring him to sign? If anything, this is just making him want to get out of that cancer locker room asap.
He gets to go to a contender who likely will also want to pay him (if they are giving up significant assets).
That said, I'd be scared to death to sign this guy to anything more than 4-5 years. He's linemate dependent with significant injury concerns. He's also a weak skater at 28. What's that going to look like?
its gonna look like Tyler Toffolli scoring 30 goals a yearHow is this pressuring him to sign? If anything, this is just making him want to get out of that cancer locker room asap.

lol that you posted this is laughable! Ooh yeah, wild should trade their franchise for free agent they don’t need lolI doubt the Canucks will give Brock what He wants. Eight plus million? It is unfortunate because He has been Here so long, and He is all around a good Guy and teammate.
Why don't the Wild part ways with Kaprizov and bring Brock home?
Toffoli didn't have the same injury concerns before his 28th birthday.its gonna look like Tyler Toffolli scoring 30 goals a year
This Canucks core is really going to die for Jimmy Rutherford and Rick Tocchet. Wow
I would only sign him if I'm a contender with a good playmaking center looking for a pure goal scoring winger. How is this pressuring him to sign? If anything, this is just making him want to get out of that cancer locker room asap.

Boeser is a good player, I'd love him on Edmonton stapled to Drai's wing. I just won't like the contract or his injury concerns. McDrai are absolute horses who rarely get hurt (knocking on wood), spending cap on a guy you aren't sure can make it through a season would scare me to death.I would only sign him if I'm a contender with a good playmaking center looking for a pure goal scoring winger.
Boeser is a product of his team/linemates but not everyone can score 40 goals just because they're playing with good players.
If he's in a strong environment he will flourish, but he's one of those guys that looks horrendous if things around him aren't clicking.
I'd be very interested if I was NJD, DAL, etc.
Boeser's been pretty healthy over the past 5 seasons. He's played in over 90% of those games.Boeser is a good player, I'd love him on Edmonton stapled to Drai's wing. I honestly think trading him would be a savvy move by Vancouver. They have Lekkermaki coming up, DeBrusk has been solid, albeit unspectacular, but he's a much more versatile forward.
Difference this time is that he would be a ufa when the contract expires. Last time he was a rfa but had a high QO number which they both decided to do a 3 year deal instead.Haven’t thr Canucks gone down this road with Boeser before and ultimately didn’t trade him and they agreed to a short extension? I’m guessing Boeser can return a very late first or maybe two seconds but is that really helpful for Vancouver? Isn’t their ownership opposed to a rebuild? The team is in a tough spot.
Wonder if Winnipeg takes the gamble of own-rental on Ehlers with the intention of offering a deal to Boeser. Would be a solid signing if they could get him.Always said I’d love him on the Jets
