Hello. I will have a new show: A Even Younger Dexter.

So as a kid when this cop adoptive father sees what he is and trains him to pick bad people and not get caught?

I loved the original series, but they screwed up the ending and New Blood so I'm not putting much hope in this.
I'd rather just rewatch the first 4 seasons.

Omg

A prequel of young Dexter, new blood is coming back after all and supposedly a trinity prequel is planned too

I'm way late to this but just finished the last season and I really enjoyed it. The father son stuff between sociopaths was somehow touching. Maybe that's a stretch to call Harrison that. Dexter dying was the only fitting ending imo. I think it did a much better job of wrapping up the show than the original final season did.

I agree, although the bar was pretty low. ;)

This prequel debuts next week (Friday December 13)

Who is watching?

Oh, Sarah Michelle Gellar is in this...haven't seen her in a while.
I'm not sure I'll watch this even though I loved the original series. Casting a younger version of basically everyone from the original (Dex, Deb, Harry, Masuka, Batista, LaGuerta) makes it look like a parody video.
I'd rather have them re-do Season 8, but do it properly and continue Dexter's story in a different setting (and forget that New Blood ever happened).

Looks like crap but the interesting part of that trailer is Dexter alive in emergency room. Another season and third times the charm for the ending lol? Not like Michael C Hall has a lot else to do.

Not sure if it is any better, but it looks like they are ALSO doing a sequel series after New Blood.

This looks hilarious! I've been looking for a new comedy since Curb ended.

I always enjoyed the original Dexter and even enjoyed the New Blood even though it wasn't quite the same as the original, but it was good enough. This Dexter Original Sin, I remeber hearing about it a while ago but that was it, but watching that trailer I don't know, it looks like basically a remake of the original Dexter with new actors....

This is much better than I would have ever imagined. Really enjoyed every episode so far.

Does it sound like in certain scenes they'll dub Michael C Hall's voice over the actual actor's voice or am I just crazy? Like just for a few words at a time in "classic Dexter" lines if that makes any sense.

This show is really good. Makes me want to watch the original again. Also with the first episode, I'm guessing another sequel is in the works? Or maybe he'll die at the end.

I started the pilot of OG Dexter and it's funny how he said he can't feel anything for anyone but he clearly cares about his sister and his dad in the prequel. Also funny how while Deb isn't large in the prequel, she gets even skinnier in the original. I'm just nitpicking though.

I've watched all the episodes that are out in the past week or so. Really has kept me entertained.
