Not sure why anyone would be against Levi getting sent down to the A to get the lion share workload. It's not like he has been knocking down doors with a career 3.05GAA and a .901 SV%

This year he has won 1 game out of 4 and sits with a .892 SV%

That's not exactly a ringing endorsement to become starter.
The Sabres trajectory this year are for playoffs, they shouldn't be developing in net on the main squad.

The Sabres aren't a playoff calibre team. If the other players are still developing up here, why not him .

You tell that to the players, see how they feel about it. Their goal is to make the playoffs and management should recognize that and support that.

As to your second point, the players are developing yes but they are at a further point in their development than Levi. They have actually been thru the full rigors of a season and know what it takes to win. Now they need to enact it.

Not what you're smoking if you think these losers are a playoff team.
I still have faith in em to maybe sneak in this year but I'm not going to have a cow if they don't. They're the youngest team in the league, with vets probably too long in the tooth. More to sort out.

I thought he was exactly what you need tonight. Play well enough to keep you in it and give your offense a chance. He’s not going to be perfect at 21. Woll is a rookie putting up great numbers at 25. Just give your team a chance. That’s a quality start.

Tonight was a good example of why the expected goals stat is really flawed: It had Toronto at 2xg but if you watched the goals they scored they were ones you really couldn't fault Levi on.
