The clown show finally got it right after nearly 20 games. The simplest roster assessments and moves wind up being a tooth pulling session. Whoever watches, advises, and ultimately makes decisions just don't see what they think they're seeing.
Could be. He did just get sacked by a team that blamed him for not having goaltending his entire time there. And then that team went out and got two new goalies.
There is also the rumble that Ruff might wind up as POHO after his coaching term is done. Maybe he's going to be Adams' "boss" down the line.

Good. Should've been done a month ago but our GM is a idiot who was hellbent on riding the Levi ship into a iceberg. Glad that he finally had no choice but to steer it back on course.

I don't get the disdain. Levi is better than Reimer. He got a few games in and struggled. He gets to go work on it in Rochester and get steady time. We had a weird pre-season and the last 6 weeks provided a better litmus against quality competition.

No disdain. I like Levi. Loads of upside.
But him not being NHL ready was the safest Sabres roster bet going into the regular season. That bet paid off.
He's where he needs to be now, racking up starts and wins and experience.

You might be surprised how many sets of gear NHL goalies go through in a season.
It was just not the right call and they waited too long to address it. It’s just not the most competent front office

Who in the Sabres org set that preseason up ? People should know. The GM, Asts, The Owner, The league ? If it was the GM and owner, just add it to the list of bumbling that is building up, AGAIN. They have mismanaged goaltending now in some way for 5 years+!
UPL needs games to be at his best, where does that leave Levi in the end ? The two probably can't work as a tandem.

UPL always seems to be doing better when Devon isn't his back-up. Feels like he is looking over his shoulder. Devon also seems to be better when it's his crease and there isn't a threat to it. Hopefully they both grow out of the "each other is a threat"
