What a difficult task it will be tonight for the NJD. Detroit is much better than we give them credit for and Stevie Y is building quite the power house in the motor city. Restoring the Red Wings to the prior glory. Wish we could do that for our NJD. They've made some very shrewd moves this offseason, starting with Ben Chiarot. While Fitz sat there and signed an much more inferior washed up Rags reject Brendan Smith for 2 years. Thanks again Fitz.

And then perhaps Stevie Y's most shrewd move of the offseason for any team in the league was picking up Husso. Fitz really let one slip away there, so he had to scramble and Vanecek from the Craps, who Husso will wildly outplay tonight should Vanecek get the start.

All NJD fans need to sit back and watch what a real team on the rise looks like. That's what happens when you have good owners like the Ilitch's, who hire SMART people to run their team like prying two time cup winning GM Stevie Y out of TB. And not the same Pengs rejects that Harris brought in almost 8 years ago to no improvement; It'll be an exciting night watching a very skilled and young Detroit team that have the perfect mix of young skill and speed and older veterans who know a thing or two about winning. While we're still watching the same stagnating failed product. And a VERY GOOD netminder in Husso, while we still trot out the same repeat suspect in MBW29, who has given this team bushleague netminding for far too long now, while our GM does nothing but patchworks pickups like Crawford who was already making plans for the retirement home when signed, Detroit reject Bernier and Craps choker Vanecek.
