I really like Keefe's answer on the question about Sprong. People would look at just his counting stats and assume he isn't bringing anything, but I really do think he's come along quite well the past few games. He's certainly listening to what the coaching staff is telling him.

He seemed to flub the puck every time he touched it. I’m so glad that washed group traded a 1st to have him on the team until 2030.
I noticed him take the wrong route on the Devils first goal, he forgot to challenge Meier on that one-timer.
Funny that Miller is returning to his no-shooting roots as a Ranger, I feel like that is why they soured on him in the first place. Even though his boxcars are great right now, it would be nice for there to be another Kovalev, a guy who somehow has great numbers outside of New York and 2nd liner numbers while there.
Great game. Nothing better than shutting out the rags. Doomer is settling in nicely as a Siegs replacement. Thought Kovy was decent too. Seamus…kid just produces, undeniable.

On that pp goal, I thought Luke did a nice job making it look like he might shoot. I felt that got Miller to move slightly to challenge Luke / be late to challenge Meier.
He's not moving towards Luke, he never even looks at him; he's trying to cover Mercer and/or cheat over to help a face off win, he spots the other Miller doing the same thing and then he realizes that's not his assignment and then it's too late.
