Crazy he doesn't have more assists, shows how bad his linemates have been at finishing. He's leaps and bounds better than Nick Suzuki, who somehow has more points.

Mtl are trying to play offensive oriented hockey, it helps to have talented Lane Hutson on the blue line. And Caufield is actually scoring goals. Timo is doing fine this year but he had real problems with scoring. Slafkovsky is quite better partner than what Nico had most of the year.

Typical 3rd period bullshit. No puck control, no offense zone time. I hate Keefe's coaching in the third. It's pure stupidity and shit.

It is frustrating, it feels like he wants to just play a cycle game with a third man high with no one taking any risks. Throw the puck around the wall and out, no risky breakouts.

That might work for the mid-2010s Kings but this team thrives on being aggressive and quickly transitioning which that just neuters.

Hopefully once they build that foundation Keefe loosens it up a little bit and finds a healthy balance.
