Luke had a hell of a game last night. So lucky to have him for years to come.
What This Means for You:
Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.
In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord ServerIt was tipped but the way Markstrom is playing lately, he could give up that rebound on an untipped shot. He definitely had a few bad rebounds/failures to secure the puck.
Initial shot was tipped.
They are obviously under the misconception that the fans mean nothing. It's the same around the league but they will take every dime you have to watch their bad product![]()
I think that's true of every team in every sport in North America. NJ is hardly unique in that regard.Anyone foolish enough to believe the organization has the fans best interest in mind is delusional. In the end, it's entertainment and entertainment only. No more. No less.

Yes and no. Look at a team like the Cowboys. In my mind it's a lot more about the glitz and glamour than actually winning. Same with the Lakers. Despite the Jets and Giants being mediocre how many folks give up those season tickets? Same with the Commanders. That’s an odd take. It’s $. And what brings in $? Fans. What brings in fans? Winning.
Exactly but without the fans there is no team obviouslyAnyone foolish enough to believe the organization has the fans best interest in mind is delusional. In the end, it's entertainment and entertainment only. No more. No less.

For those who didn't get to see Marky's postgame interview. His reaction to Carter's question cracks me up.
Of course. But the Devils are part of a bigger conglomerate at this point. My guess is in the scheme of things they largely exist as a line item on a much bigger balance sheet and P&L statement. The Commanders alone must dwarf anything the Devils do or don't do.Comparing NFL teams and the Lakers to the NHL…and further, the Devils who are a lower mid level team at best in terms of popularity, it’s comparing apples to oranges.
Markstrom said that playing "can't make it worse" with regards to his injury so he wanted to play. Sounds like he's still hurt.
Thought he had a pretty good game overall last night. Hopefully he can keep finding his game. Seems like a great guy too.
Has to be hard playing with a small nagging injury like that, but overall I think he’s brought some stability in net with Jake Allen.
lol really? is that even a question?I'm not sure who I ask to start Game 1 right now though.
There are 10 games left for Jake to redeem himselflol really? is that even a question?
