Lazar particularly has no business out there defending a lead or doing anything.

They’re not pushing play. They have a single shot on net since the post you responded to.

They haven’t even broken 20 shots on net against a horrible hawks team. Cardio isn’t pushing play.

They weren’t turtling. Most of the period they had possession and gave up nothing but perimeter soft shots to Hawks. Complete opposite of the Flames game

Now, their 6 on 5 sucks ass, but thats a separate discussion and gameplay. But the 3rd period approach was correct tonight. How anyone can say that was turtling is beyond me, because it wasn’t
