I could argue that a discussion about health is akin to a public service and genuinely helpful to the older posters. Once the game gets closer I'm sure we will start complaining about the on ice product again.

Gerry will go with Markstrom-Daws which stinks of Vanecek-Schmid 2.0 and with nothing behind Daws.

If we can’t beat the Hawks , then who can / are we going to beat from here on out? If we are fighting for our playoff lives , and lose to the frickin Blackhawks , then what the hell is the point . We either get passed by the Islanders / Rags , or we limp into the playoffs and get shit pumped by the Canes . It’s not like we go from losing to one of the humptiest of the humpty teams ( Hawks) and magically flip a switch and are able to beat the Canes in a best of 7 . Now is the time of year where you are supposed to be trending upward , improving each game . We are doing the opposite . We are getting shittier each game and finding ways to lose. This is a game where they need to win and win in a way where they gain some confidence. If they lose , they are going to sag even more and I honestly don’t see them recovering from it. Losing out the rest of the games is a definite possibility .

Don’t really understand the logic of pulling Foote out here, especially with another forward out.

Yes - this is rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic but Foote has been basically bastian with a sliver of offense.
