i didn't unignore shit.

This was a constant auto-ignore by the system that was out of my control until now I guess.

I suppose they finally got around to stopping that nonsense.

At least now when you make a GDT going forward, I'll finally be able to see it and participate in it instead of only being able to just see it if I was logged off. (that was very annoying)
Well its good to see your posts again. Off to bed for me since its magically almost 3:30. Have a good night

Yzerman had Stamkos and Hedman as soon as he walked into the door in TB, that obviously helped him tremendously. He had nothing like that in Detroit, so it's obviously been tougher there. He hit on 4 picks in Tampa Bay and they all become HOFers/good contributors to TB in Point, Kucherov, Vasy and Cirelli. I do agree JBB is a way better GM than Yzerman, picking Guentzel over Stamkos was a tremendous move and most GM's wouldn't do it out of respect to Stamkos's career as a lifer there. Also love his aggressive nature with trades. Didn't work with Jeannot but it worked amazingly well with Hagel and will probably work with Gourde and Bjorkstrand if I had to bet
Can’t wait to see the Florida rematch this postseason

My late, just back from Vaca take......

Don't like the trade, maybe more so giving up Traff then the 2nd, but it was a big hole to fill, and Dumoulin is a miles more capable guy in a Sieg's type role then the AHL option.

I also think that Fitz knows his career, or at least his time here with the Devils, would be severely compromised if this team does not make the playoffs. Does that mean he should have thrown even more chips on the table to acquire a center? I dunno, maybe he did, this is the first link I clicked.

For the market knowers in here, Jake Walman was traded with a 2nd for nothing this summer, he was traded for a 1st at the deadline.
Walman is 29 with another year on his contract.

Dumoulin is 33, a pending UFA, and coming to a team that just lost their best player.

I do respect the idea of pushing to make the playoffs despite losing Jack, I think guys like Nico and Bratt have too many non playoff years already in their career, but it does seem like we are giving up some decent assets in a season in which we really don't have a chance of making any real playoff noise.
