Why is Eric Gryba always annoying me? This has been going on since like 2012.

It all started in the Torts era when the team would get pinned in their zone for 5 minutes at a time and just block shots.

Gryba was on Ottawa and had like 25 attempted shots on goal one game.

Literally, every single NHL defenseman makes mistakes like that, and they aren’t constantly pointed out, but because it’s DeAngelo, it’s the narrative.

Not really. If Greene was even sort of marked its just a blind pass into the slot that could be defended. It was a goal because there was no one within 15 feet of Greene.

That's not to say ADA didn't lose his matchup, because he did.
