Has there been much turnover in personnel down there?Scoring 21 goals in 13 games.

Labanc’s killing it.
That’s f***ing hilarious. Detroit has a better case for 28th than 8th. They f***ing suck and there’s no reason to believe they’ll be anything more than like a bubble team.
Rangers maybe a tad high but I find it hard to argue they don’t deserve to be somewhere around there. They won the President’s last year, ECF in 2 of the last 3 years, 5th in the league in pts% so far. At worst the 2nd best goalie in the world, at worst I’d say the 3rd best Dman in the league, Panarin’s insane. With that core 3 they’ll always be in contention.
You do not keep draft picks when you are a team looking to win a cup. You use them to grab players that are already nhl ready instead of drafting projects that don’t fit the timeline even if they workout.
Are y'all talking about Marchy as in Marchessault? I don't remember us being in the market for him at all...and he would not fit the team's cap structure.

Lorentz felt like a no brainer guy to sign. Cheap 4th line depth with C ability in a pinch (which we’re currently in).
The problem with the Rangers is that I don't like them, which magically extends the career of older players longer than they would for a team I like or one I don't care about.eh, all the Rangers best forwards are old. Panarin, Kreider, Trocheck, Zib (who sucks this year)
Laf has developed a bit, but he is no way a legit top line player.

His 5v5 OISH is a hilarious 0.87%.some of the "twitter reporters" had him as a done deal to NJ until Nashville snuck in last minute
from what it seems like, he has been brutal this year at 5 on 5 though
This made me LOL at workThe problem with the Rangers is that I don't like them, which magically extends the career of older players longer than they would for a team I like or one I don't care about.
Timo has a 56% xGoals share, and for those that hate advanced stats, a 71% actual goals share 5v5.
past luck is not indicative of future luck*Appreciate the post and a convenient opportunity to add “past performance is not indicative of future performance”
*ok class! repeat after me*
He’s been ok, which is so much better than he was to start last year. He’ll have a week with 5 goals or whatever like he always seems to do. Streaky player and the counting stats may not be there without PP1 time.I completely overestimated Timo. I wish we still had Zetterlund.
Gritsyuk seems to be our only NHL-quality forward prospect right now (at least one that is certain to get games), and he probably only comes when he's guaranteed an NHL spot. I was hoping we draft a forward with our pick last year, but hopefully Silayev is the type that is too good overall to pass up. Can be traded later anyway.
We were in on him. We were the team he was most closely linked to until Nashville swooped in. We also would’ve been able to fit him. It would’ve meant no Noesen or Tatar instead
I wouldn't be surprised if Gritsyuk comes over whenever his KHL season is over.
if NJ had just been adding a few extra late round picks to use them on overages and development project centers they'd be fine now most likely. The two guys they added towards the end of the last draft make sense and they should have been drafting players like that every year.Anthony Richard has 6 pts in 6 GP for Philly and I just wanted him to give Utica a center lol.
He got a 2 year 775k one way deal and we’re too cheap to give forward depth that.
I like Lenni
