With the way Utica is looking forward wise I think it'd be fine to keep Nemec up even if he's not playing for the time-being. It's his fourth head coach if you count Dineen in the past two seasons as 19/20 year old so I think whatever practice time and extra work he gets with the coaches in the NHL could be more beneficial than Utica. Now if they go 15-20 or so games without playing him then I'd have a different tune about it but with the condensed schedule, opportunities to go 11-7, and possible injuries he could get in before it goes that long without a game. They found a way to get Macdermid in which made them effectively go 11-6 so I'm sure they could find a way for Nemec to get in.

I’d start to get concerned about Simon getting Holtz’d if this keeps up much longer. The last thing I wanna do is hurt his development by having him sit for an extended period. He needs ice time and lots of it.

I know I brought up Hall as a former Devil coming back but it looks like he's a bit cooked career wise in Chicago but if/when the Isles are out of the playoffs, I'd be all over Palmieri to come back here and play L1 with Jack/Bratt. Perfect winger for those two as well, Lou's old ass would never do it though.

Nelson would also be a good option for the people who think Jack needs to be at the wing or the Haula thing from 22-23

Hope so. Fitz better have learned his lesson from last year and pulls the trigger on the demotion. Kovy 2.0 has earned his spot in the lineup, but Nemec has no business being the 7D. Plenty of warm bodies in Utica that are better suited to that role.

anyway. Noesen dressed up as Darla and his wife was Nemo. The wife had a plastic bag over her body and Noesen was shaking it.

Really hard to see the Devils managing to pay more for a C replacement than the Avs would be willing to. If a guy reaches waivers who is intriguing, they could go for it, otherwise I think they will just stick with Dowling for the time being.
