You can't send Nemec back to the AHL unless he's playing like crap.It really isn't the worst thing in the world to have Casey or Nemec marinating in the AHL waiting for the next injury. In fact, that's a competitive advantage.

I didn’t get a chance to watch much of the preseason . What is he struggling with ? Offensive side of the game or D ? And what specifically ? Timing ? Skating ? Decision making ?So far, he has been.
In a year or two it could / should very well be . Hopefully Dougie doesn’t start falling off too much by the time Luke Nemec Casey hit their stride . But we also have yet to see what Silayev can do.So that's gotta be the best D corps in the league?
