I’ve said it a million times. Goalies are insanely voodoo. Never really know what you’re gonna get and how’s he’s done so far doesn’t tell us anything about how’s he gonna do the rest of the way (even if he had been lights out).

Markstrom is talented so all we can do is hope that he’s mostly good going forward

I haven't watched games recently. So I came here to ask :)

How did Pesce integrate in the NJ defense? How is his game?

I wonder because the D depth is still remarking and some big decisions might come up. He's litterally the guy I haven't seen playing so far ...

He missed time because of injury at the start of the season, but has been solid since coming back.

His diving break up of an Islanders play in the second was huge....Imo he has been solid and seems to be good influence on Luke

Pesce has been as advertised. He’s rock solid, makes great reads and very few mistakes. Luke’s defensive game has improved and I’d attribute a lot of that to Pesce. He definitely does deserve more love.

The offseason additions of Pesce, Noesen and Cotter were stellar work by Fitz.

Ya and it's why I'm not an advocate of Luke-Dougie in an effort to get Hamilton going.

Pesce looks to be the perfect complement to a young offensive minded d-man who can be a little free wheeling at times. Why mess with that?

3 game goal drought for Hischier. I'd like to see him and Meier get on the scoresheet tonight as they have had a quiet last 2 games. I think the Luke/Pesce pairing is do for something as well. We just can't take the Sharks lightly tonight because they have been playing a bit better the last 5 games or so. Gotts watch out for Celebrini , he is off to a good start his first few games. The hype from Bedard really pulled away attention from him all of last year.

Hischier has done what he typically does when Jack heats up. He's content to just stop the main line on the opponent. He's done that well the last few games. I'm sure he's also tired from having to carry the team around on his back for about 13 games. That takes a lot out of you. Now that Jack is rolling it would be nice to have that third line rolling also. Mercer scored one last night so maybe he is getting it going.

To @Its Always Sundstrom, since I couldn't reply in the GDT:

"Cotter and Frederic on a line would potentially be menacing and fun. I know he’s been scratched recently but are they any rumors of him getting moved? @BostonDevil"

There is some talk around here about shaking things up with that pile of garbage team. Most likely a coaching change but "1st Line Zacha" tells you all you need to know about the talent level there. Seems like the horseshoe they've had up their asses for years has fallen out.

I wouldn't mind Frederic here.

Funny story, daughter and her friend went to a Bruins game (against my wishes) and they saw him driving away afterwards. They waived and he pulled over to take a selfie with them, where they made him take the picture. Seems like a good guy.
