This team could use more guys like Bastian, not less - I guess they picked one up in Noesen, but let's see how that goes. While I doubt he would be claimed on waivers, risking him on there is foolish.

we need to find a way to sign lebanc before another team does. i know it's only based on a handful of preseason games, but his release is ridiculous and i'd take him over tatar or bastian right now.

Also what are the chances we go through the first few months without an injury, even if he rotates as the 13th forward over Foote(?) or whoever they are going with, he can either earn his spot through his play or be there for when we need someone to fill in who can at least hold their own. Latter reason being in case his pre season Mcdavid performance was a fluke.
