The first might have been their worst period of the year. They were "fine" the rest of the game but they should be better than fine against the Sharks. I'll cut them some slack because of the trip and the schedule. Come back better for the Kraken game.

Said this before but it helps when a goaltender actually does his job and doesn't play like a sieve. Could've and should've been 3-1 or 4-1 Sharks after that shitty first

The Devils win on 1/7 v NYR is going to be our equivalent of the Rangers winning the Stadium Series which capitulated them on a second half streak in 2014.

That was massive and that was also the back end of 3 in 3.75 days too. The fact they were able to get 4 points in the recent 2 games in that type of scheduling is incredible stuff.

This game almost seemed destined for him to score the OT winner, if we would have won in OT.

Especially since it would have followed suit with team as a whole having a poor game, only to come back and win lol.
